Ocean Point

Ocean Point is a private community of 37 properties including Ocean Point North and South in Port Royal Plantation. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean beachfront and has approximately 10 acres of private open space that enhances the patio lots set in lush landscaping. We enjoy amazing beautiful sunrises and moonrises over the Atlantic Ocean.

The community has its own private pool and beach walks. The residents of the community include part-time and full time residents. Many of the residents work in the local community or commute to other cities. Some families have lived here for many years and have enjoyed summers and holidays with children and now grandchildren, bringing them to enjoy the pool and beach. Many others just enjoy sitting on their porch or the beach and reading a book, swimming in the ocean, running and biking.

Our community is part of a greater effort of Port Royal Plantation and Hilton Head Island to preserve the beautiful Low Country environment—including sea turtles, wildlife, one hundred year old live oaks and native plants. We have a private landscape company and private irrigation wells for the maintenance of the property. The irrigation is available to all homeowners and is a great savings to owners compared to public water service.

Homes in Ocean Point are traditional in style. The original development was planned for large luxury duplexes in the Nantucket style. The development has evolved into traditional styling of neutral environment tones of stucco, shake and clapboard exteriors. Homes are given privacy by positioning and landscaping plus a common appreciation for privacy.

The Ocean Point Covenants and By-laws, Ocean Point Rules, and Ocean Point Architectural Guidelines and Procedures can be selected from the list of documents in the folder below.  Residents and prospective residents may contact Association Services at 843-785-7070 for questions about the community or need to report problems with irrigation, pool, or landscape problems in the common areas.

Have a wonderful day…in the Low Country.

Sincerely,

The Members of the Ocean Point Property Owners Association
